1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the VigilGuard web dashboard or downloading and using our mobile applications, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all guards, supervisors, and administrators.

2. User Account & Roster Registration

Admin accounts are assigned to specific security agencies or site managers. Admins are responsible for keeping guard roster profiles accurate (including correct names and phone numbers) and maintaining active guard credentials securely.

3. Prohibited Conduct & Tampering

The integrity of VigilGuard logs is essential. You agree not to engage in or facilitate any of the following activities:

• Using mock GPS location applications, location-spoofing software, or emulator configurations to submit falsified shift coordinates.
• Cloning QR codes, mimicking NFC tag payloads, or duplicating site-specific tags to log artificial checkpoints scans.
• Using automated macros, scripts, or external systems to answer alertness tests.

Detection of logs indicating tampering will trigger automated system alerts and constitutes grounds for immediate suspension.

4. Operational Continuity & Safety Disclaimer

VigilGuard is a digital patrol auditing and verification tool. It is not an emergency dispatch system or a life safety solution. Guards and site operators must follow standard security agency guidelines and local authority protocols in emergency or high-risk scenarios.

5. Service Availability

While we strive for high platform availability, VigilGuard services rely on network connectivity, mobile carrier coverage, and Google Play Services for location telemetry. VigilGuard is not liable for data sync delays or location discrepancies caused by third-party provider issues or offline environments.
